The Concordia Financial Group’s Environmental Policy

Concordia Financial Group recognizes that preservation and protection of the global environment is one of its most important responsibilities. By actively addressing environmental issues through our core business activities and our own corporate activities, we contribute to the sustainable development of society.

1.　Development and Provision of Products: We support our customers in their efforts to address environmental issues through the development and provision of products and services.
2.　Compliance with Laws and Regulations: We comply with all laws and regulations on environmental protection.
3.　Monitoring: We establish goals related to our efforts to address environmental issues and strive to continuously improve these efforts through periodic evaluation and review of our progress.
4.　Reduction of Environmental Impact: We strive to reduce our environmental impact by saving resources, saving energy, and recycling waste.
5.　Addressing Climate Change: We recognize that addressing climate change is an important issue that must be tackled as a priority, and we work toward the realization of a decarbonized society, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
6.　Environmental Protection and Ecosystem Conservation: We engage in dialogue with local communities to promote local environmental protection and ecosystem conservation activities.
7.　Pollution Prevention and Disclosure of Information: We regularly review the impact of our corporate activities on the environment and take steps to improve our work and to prevent pollution. Furthermore, we strive to improve our disclosure of environmental information.
8.　Governance: The Group Sustainability Committee, chaired by the President, regularly discusses the status of efforts to address climate change and protect the environment, and is overseen by the Board of Directors.
9.　Educational Activities: We disseminate this policy throughout the company, and ensure that each and every one of our executives and employees actively engages in environmental protection activities. We also publicize this policy outside the company, and promote educational activities.
